Most known for her hit single on Soundcloud ‘Early Halloween‘ (feat. Casper Da Ghost), Hunter Amazing, the multi-talented rapper, singer and producer is keeping her peers on their toes. We’re anxious to see what she may do next. Her hunger for change, aggression for success, and passion is evident in her music from listening to songs like ‘With My Friends’, ‘Hard’, ‘Bussin’ and of course everyone’s favorite ‘Early Halloween’.

Amazing just released a new mixtape on July 23, called ‘In My Room.’ Now usually when I’m listening to Amazing’s music I know it’s finna be real hardcore like I’m either gonna party hard or I’m finna talk my s*** & let these b****es know PERIOD! However when I listened to the mixtape it had a different feel from before. She gave me an R&B album, so I’m in my room vibing.

Honestly, I love the switch up because in each song she gives us a piece of herself talking about real s*** when you’re in your thoughts or in your own zone.

Amazing talks about feelings of being alone/ feeling alone, conquering fear, pouring confidence back into yourself, issues at home, wanting to experience love, manifesting where you want to be in life and to just take things a day at a time. You know things that we all are feeling and going through in our early 20s’.

Pieces of art like ‘Be Free’,’Weight’, ‘Truth’, ‘Pray’, ‘Fire/Ice’ and ‘Peace’ are top tier in my eyes and I feel like they’re relatable for my generation as well.

I like the album as a whole but I got two songs that touched me the most, ‘Weight’ and ‘Pray’. Here’s how it goes….

“I won’t go, no they waiting on me. Hiding my soul before they take it from me and they check what I got. I’m going straight to the top, hate me how could you not?! “My heart is so heavy, ima save the world if they let me. My brother yelling out ‘don’t forget me’ and my sister acting out cause she’s empty. Don’t go by word of mouth, it gets tricky cause what they tell you now isn’t really how it’s going down in the city. Cause they just looking down from ceiling. But don’t let’em tell you that the sky is the limit ’cause it’s not.. (you can go as far as you mu****in want to). – Pray

These songs along with others shows her vunerability as an artist. She’s feeling and fearing all at once but holding it altogether because she’s focused on reaching her goals, by any means.

Amazing samples songs from Brent Faiyaz, Michael Jackson, Fantasia and Future putting her own twist of R&B soul creating aesthetic pleasure for the ears.
